This is so true!
Thank you for this reminder. My coping strategy is avoidance, big time! It’s a natural way my body/mind protect themselves from stress.
Were you off too, is there somewhere I can park the caravan.😜
I find it's better to face problems and deal with them when they come up as avoiding them doesn't solve anything!
Wish I was as brave as you Turnipgirl!
Since I was evicted last month it has brought out another side to me and made me hard!
I decided to look on it as the best thing that could have happened to me and now time has gone by I feel it was!
What else I decided on was to use it as an opportunity to get rid of things that no longer serve me and let them go!
Yesterday I had a job interview in the afternoon which I felt I gave my best to but if I don't get it I won't get myself upset over it and afterwards called in at a greengrocers shop nearby and asked did they have white turnips in stock and they hadn't and said would I like the yellow ones instead and those I took and enjoyed yellow turnip soup for last night's dinner and they tasted gorgeous unlike the ones you get in the supermarket that don't have much taste to them!
In future I will be getting my fruit and veg from that greengrocers shop and not bother getting it from the supermarkets!
In the greengrocers there was a man in there who was getting thrown out of his home as well and I said how that had happened to me recently and how I have survived it and at present taking life day by day which is suiting me fine!
That greengrocers sells all kinds of stuff like dried peas, eggs and sweets and I saw some pies on display as well as the usual fruit and veg.
This afternoon it's sandwiches in the park and swimming at 3pm and a walk.
Between you and me I feel that by accident I was done a favour when I was evicted!
