Getting to the next therapy appointment

Hello friends. I've been having a tough couple of days dealing with my anxiety and my emotions in general. I use the Headspace app to meditate and it really helps to recenter me, but then in a couple of hours I feel crummy again. I write in my journal things I might like to discuss with my therapist on Wednesday but once the thoughts get flowing it's like I can't turn my brain off. Anyway, I know my appointment is just a couple days away but it feels like an eternity. My therapist is the only person in my life right now who I am comfortable sharing my feelings with. Any tips for making it until your next appointment when things are especially rough? All advice welcome.

I understand and feel the same way. Except now I started a job where I won’t be able to fit therapy in my schedule.

Therapy is there to help you, and you deserve it...therapy is there to work for you, when you are ready...despite what you say and feel, you SOUND ready, to me...take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are doing this to make things better...positivity will help you...let us know how it goes--you can do this! :>) You deserve blessings!

It sounds to me that you are doing all the right things to help yourself but it troubles you that your anxiety is on the rise. This is something you need to discuss with your therapist so he/she can give you advice on how to deal with those situations when they arise. Best of luck and good on you for seeking talk therapy!
