Hi all!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!! Having maddie has sure been a blessing cause like they say dogs help ppl with depression and anxiety. I've felt such joy since getting her. Feeling happy instead of sad and depressed. Its been excruciating having no dog for 10 years. I live alone and never had kids so having her to care for is great. Love taking her to dog parks and trying to get her socialized with dogs. All in time I guess. Its only been 6 days and she's come a long way!! She loves to be super super close to me when asleep. Anyhoo, dogs are a huge blessing from God!! I love how dog is God backwards! He definitely made dogs to be truly amazing little souls💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 Have a relaxing Sunday to all!!!

Oh thanks so very much Agora1!!! Your heart is gold!! Yea I'm thrilled to have her to love. She sure sleeps a lot😴😴 Its only been 6 days now so she could still be getting her rest from being on the streets for God knows how long. I hope your having a great night as well!!

You crack me up but yea that song fits😄😄 thank you its nice to be happy and not full of anger, depression etc. Still have severe anxiety which really sucks. I was at Dr office a week ago and it was so bad my blood pressure was thru the roof. Its normally below normal or close to 120/80. Just proof how severe it gets. Wish I could take her everywhere like a service dog. That would be awesome😄😄 How you doing?

Awe...that made me smile reading your post 😊 What type of dog is she ? She is very cute & that's awesome to hear how much joy she has brought you ! I absolutely love dogs, I've always had 1 since I was a child & can't imagine not having them in my life. I actually have 3 now, a Yorkie, Shitzu & a Teddy Bear (Shitzu/Bichon frise mix). When I'm stuck in bed all day dealing with my chronic back pain & depression/anxiety...they never leave my side 💕

Have no idea what breed she is which has been super tough trying to figure out. They had to shave her all the way down. She was completely matted when the shelter picked her up. I adopted her only a few days after she arrived there. Its only the 6th day and she's doing so darn well. Tails normal now even high sometimes at dog park. I too love our little dog angels and have too since a kid. Iv e always had a dog except I was totally unable to get one for 10 years. Living in an apt in Vegas and the other 5 years were mourning over my last dog. Killed my soul losing her at 14. I'm so jealous you have 3 dogs!! Omg how fun that would be!!💗💗💗 yea isn't it great how much love they have in their 💗? Too bad ppl suck nowadays. Blessing God that he puts dogs on earth!!! Your little dogs sound absolutely wonderful💗

Thank you I thought she looked cute so up close to me. It was hard to get a pic she was so curled up in a ball. She really is affectionate to everyone. Found out today she was growling at one ladies own dog to protect her. Crazy. Loves ppl but not too good with other dogs especially when I'm near. Stuff I have to work on with her. But in 6 days She's really come a Humungous way. Hope your having a wonderful Sunday!!!

You are an angel sent to Maddie as Maddie was sent to you what a wonderful blessing for each other. Photo of your doggie really touched my heart. I had a kitty for 18 years and passed away and it took me a few years but I got another one and his name is Samson. I would send you a picture but I don't know how to upload it into these emails to share with everybody but he's a beautiful orange cat and actually he was returned once to the shelter because he was playing and accidentally bit a little hard but I'm glad he was returned to the shelter because he was meant to be with me. Sending you love and big big hugs to both of you. enjoy all your precious moments together. 🌻💕

I'm so very sorry you lost your loving 🐱. I thank you for what you said. Made my day😂😎😄 I just got back from dog park. She ended up snapping at a dog so we have lots to work out. She usually only growls to warn for a bit but this dog was super hyper and just wanted to play so I couldn't stay long. Only 45 minutes. Anyways I'm super happy they did return Samson so you two could be together!!💗🐱 Its all meant to be finding our Furever best friends!!💗🐱🐶 Sending you loves and hugs from me and maddie girl to you and Samson🐱💗 Yes ill love every moment with her! I already love being close to her. She's right next to me now😊 You enjoy those cherished moments with Samson too💗💗

I have an idea. Don't take maddie out to the doggie park for a day or so. Let het get to one u n her new home a bit. Then take het n walk by the doggie park but not in it. Take it slow. N she will come around.

We go to dog park 2 x daily. She's doing ok with other dogs so far. Just mainly growls if threathened.

So happy you are enjoying your dog. They are just the most wonderful creatures. My dog is also a rescue and I can't imagine my life without him. Best thing I ever did to get him. Enjoy.

Dogs are our only saving grace. Mine are the only thing that have kept me alive many times. They give us unconditional love every single day. Dont think humans are capable of that, least none that I have met. Khaj was my previous boy he went to heaven at 12 after getting lymphoma. Bill is my current son he is a 13 year old lab mix. He is my best friend, heater boy, we used to go for hikes all over the place but he doesn't get around as well as he used to. My plan has always been to go with him.

I soooo agree with you!!!! 100%!!! Ppl do suck in most all ways and yea maddie is under same blanket as me and she's passed out from dog park😄😄 khaj sounds like a wonderful boy!! So very sorry for your loss!! Hurts beyond belief. Lost my shep lab 10 years ago and I still say good morning and night to her. Never miss a day either!! Bill sounds like a fun boy!!! I love labs!! Is he obsessed with water? Boy mine was!! Lol. Yea when they get older they slow down but mine was still a puppy,in her head but she had hip dysplasia and couldn't stand up or move at 14. Broke my heart and soul. Like you said I wanted to go with Cheyenne!! I know that feeling. Bill will live many years I have a feeling. Such loyal companions💗💗💗 How's he doing today??? Give him a hug for me!!!

Hi Maddie's Mom,

Yes Bill loves any form of water!! Except rain, big baby, unless hes going for a walk. If I'm asking him to just go pee, then he doesn't want to get his feet wet. Silly boy. But if he finds a stagnant nasty stinky puddle somewhere he is more then happy to roll around in it. He is also seriously OCD for the ball. No joke it's like a drug for him. He starts drooling, his eyes get big, sometimes his winkie pops out, geez he is obsessed. I love this guy so much!! We are together 24/7. He does have bad arthritis, we recently moved to a place that is single level. I lived in an upstairs unit for 17 years before moving here. He likes it better here. I'm living with my niece & nephew. It is a disaster!! And yes Bill still thinks he is 2, but his body quickly reminds him he cant do that anymore. It's sad, cuz that happens alot.

thank you kindly! She's come such a long way in just 2 weeks. Does not like other dogs at all so need to work on that but she's spoiled rotten now. Lol.
