REALITY

There’s no knight in shining armor that comes and saves you,

Even the old saying of being a gentleman is it really true ?

she’s no longer touched hugged or kissed,

Her feminism has been lost within the mist.

for years she’s said.. all I need is your time, your touch & eyes so kind,

But that day never comes & years pass by.

Should she get all dressed up and perfume on but really why even try,

For she goes unnoticed another day & still doesn’t understand why,

She’s reminded she’s married by her wedding ring,

As she escapes to the medicine of music & lightly sings.
