What can i do at work to calm me down?
hi just keep assuring yourself that your in a safe place.being based indoors I doubt you would come to harm.if you a storm is coming say in a day or two just prepare the best you can.
I, too, suffer from panic attacks. Sometimes it is helpful for me to capture my anxious thoughts and determine if they are lies or truth. Most of the time, I recognize they are lies. This doesn't entirely take away the panic, but it does seem to help me cope as I try to replace the lies with truth. Do you have anyone that you can reach out to during these times? My husband is my greatest support. I am blessed to be able to share my panicked thoughts with him and he can help remind me of truth and that I am not in harm's way.
3x3 method. Look at an object then say or think the name. Hat chair light or alike. Keep it simple. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Repeat 3 time
Try taking a book to read or an inspirational novel. A spiritual book with encouraging passages and daily uplifting words. Try to start a journal and log down your fears and things you can do and think of to feel better during your attacks at work. Try to focus on the patients at your job and not what's going on outside may also help ease your tensions. Good luck and stay strong.
