Do you have a song that calms you down?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you guys have specific songs or playlists that you listen to when things get really bad? Or even songs that you listen to when you're trying to sleep? I'd really appreciate some recommendations.

Mine is not for sleeping....it's for making me comfortable driving......Paul Simon's album "Graceland"....its for getting me going not sleeping......but stick in your list when you need a breakthrough the depression.......reading helps me at night, not music

I listen to jazz piano no matter what mood I'm in because it's so soothing in general. Bill Evans is my favorite, but there are a zillion others.

Interestingly I love the sounds of nature for calming effect. I’ve noticed that this seems to helps the most for calming effect.

I know this is counterintuitive, but often I use music like K Flay or The Offspring or even John Phillip Sousa to help me calm down. While it is playing I have an outlet for some of the additional adrenaline so that when it is over I can be more settled. If I'm going the other direction, thunderstorms are very soothing to me as well as rain and Vivaldi. Good luck!

I don't have any song that calms me down. But playing and singing does. I'm a professional musician but sometimes taking an instrument I don't master and exploring it, or just beating it if it's drums, or playing the same 3 chords if it's guitar-like over and over, and singing on it, works like a mantra for me. I hope some of you can relate to that.

I just remembered: when I was on my early 20's and felt a knot in my throat I used to lie in bed and listen to the Mozart Requiem and this made me cry the hell out of me for a while. Afterwards I was clean and clear and calm like the sea at dawn

There is a song on you tube called "Oxygen" that immediately calms my anxiety and helps me get things in perspective. Give it a listen and lemmie know if it has the same effect on you. There is also a song by the same artist called :come out of hiding"; actually, all the music from this artist have a very calming effect on me!

I love spa type music when I’m in the Bath to relax to and

Tchaikovsky I find very calming 💕

There a song called "Weightless" by Marconi Union. It's suppose to help lower cortisol levels and anxiety by approx. 60%, it does say it may make you drowsy though (so don't listen to it while driving). I find it helps, it's about 8 mins but I find it so soothing. Maybe it could help you too :)

I always liked the one that says " I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell . right now, you can't tell. Just wait around, and maybe then you'll see a different side of me...'
