One of My Poems 😢

[Cocoon3]

It’s hard to see the pain,

When no one asks.

Especially behind the smiling mask,

But there’s heaviness & ache within that soul,

And this silent story may never be told.

Through the rides of the storms, alone yet strong,

This heart grows tired & weary and feels they just don’t belong.

The world before that was so in place,

Is now tucked away & outlined in beautiful white lace.

They have been the captain to everyone else’s storms,

But noone takes time out, to see the signs or the alarms.

Others see & hear the pain,

But they are still standing alone in the rain.

But In their dreams, they fly among the clouds,

Where their loved ones give hugs & say they are proud.

They hang on each day, as the darkness grows near,

And prepare again, to battle alone, yet with no fear.

They want to ask why.. but they dare not to,

So they close their eyes & fly to the clouds so blue.
