Salford quays, the old Manchester docks.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.

I know bury yeh..

I particularly loved getting the tram to Salford quays and going to the war museum ...I’m not great with heights but did take the lift to the top of the museum to see the views...first time I didn’t realise there were grills on the floor which meant you could see down to the ground through them 😱😱😱😱 my knees went 😂😂

Went past it will have to go in next time, the trams are brilliant for getting about. I will be going wandering on them again next week, to see what I can get up too.

Yes you should it’s a great place , it was free too, not sure if it still is...but I would recommend it ! And yes I used the trams all the time into the city centre 😊

Weird. My favorite singer/songwriter, Mark E. Smith*, was from that part of Manchester... and he passed away a year ago today. (* Yes, I know he was a rather... "contentious" fellow and there's many who didn't appreciate his attitudes.)
