Forgot my husbands birthday

I completely forgot my husbands birthday. It was yesterday. We spent most of the day together. And around the time we went to bed he said, “so you forgot my birthday huh?”

I feel terrible. I’m always on top of his birthday. He says it’s fine, he’s not big on birthdays in general. We usually do exactly what we did but I get him something little like his favorite candy or something. How could I have forgotten?

I honestly don’t think it was even on my radar all week. It’s like I forgot he even had a birthday. He told me not to worry, that he’s fine, but ugh! I’m so mad at myself! What’s wrong with me?

Why don't you do something today, better late than never, make his favorite food or something

I agree with the other two replies. No need to feel guilty because that doesn't get you anywhere. Do something proactive to make up for it. Look, since I've been dealing with this stuff heavily for the last year, my memory has slipped quite a bit. I try to do things to help compensate but, I'm looking into 2 supplements: Vinpocetine & PS (Phosphatidyl Serine) for additional support. I will report on the effects when I have enough info. In the meantime, don't beat yourself up.

hi these things happen from time to time if he is ok then so should you.just get him something a bit more special when you can.i went to register my son at the health centre and I forgot his date of birth.
