I HATE even watching my local news. They Magnify everything bad. You'd think the World was ending ! Are we are fed ANXIETY ?

Whats Your Opinion On This ? I Really Wonder How BAD It Increases Anxiety In Us All. Their "Choice On Stories" & "Play On Words" Really Makes You Wonder. 90% Is Death, Destruction & Evil ! They Thrive On "Dirty Laundry" As If Nobody Will Listen To Anything Else. No Wonder People Are Getting Social Anxiety & Worse ! They Will Take Even A Simple Easy Going Report & Then Twist It "Just A Little" To Possibly Find A Fault & "What If" "Danger Infusion" To It. Heck ! Just Pay Attention. They Will Take "One" Tragedy & Make It Sound Like It's A Nationwide or/ Worldwide "Crisis" That Is Ever Present When You Walk Out Your Door !

If You Already Are Dealing With An Anxiety Disorder ? This Kinda Thing Is Burning "It's Not Safe Anymore" Into Our Brains ! Heck. It's A Wonder Anybody Even Leaves Their Homes Anymore If They Listen To The So Called "NEWS" All The Time.

I have always been a follower of the news and social media.. two weeks ago I had a bad few days.. since then I have unplugged most of the social media in my life along with the news it’s helping

I started feeling like a complete loser no money.. no fun and boring after a few post on social media I feel like I need to make the next step and delete it all .. the news is another story makes me sick to my stomach

I deleted Facebook 3 years ago and try not to watch news because it makes me more depressed and even some movies trigger my anxiety

You Got That Right !* Heck, I Was Just Going Through Available Movies On My Netflix & Prime Channels One Day & Just Noticed The Titles & Themes. WOW !* I Was Shocked At The Death & Destruction, Sad & Depressing, Fear & Shock Related, Butcher, Witchcraft, Serial Killer, Demon, Devil, End Of The World, & Viruses, Ect...Ect... Titles On "ALL" The Movie Outlets I Pay For !* It's Like 95% Of All The Titles ! > Hollywood Is The EPITOME Of What They Put Down In Interviews !* When "THEY" Are One Of The The Major Injections Of "Anxiety" In Society Itself !*

I loved keeping up with the news at one point but then I stopped watching/reading it because it did heighten my anxiety, especially the health related topics!

I gave up watching the news...way to depressing for me...I always think why can't they put a good segment on...with happy news? Love, peace, light, joy & hugs for you!

I don't watch the news for this reason. I have not watched it for more than 15 years. Yes, seriously ( although the odd bit I do hear about second hand) eg everyone talking about brexit here in Uk; that's all.Other than that I never watch or listen. I find this helps my mental health significantly.

Its all of Tv. You cant watch a sitcom without all the commercials on Death and life insurance.

Medical issues and medicine lawsuits. I have got extremely selective in what i watch.

I do believe they are trying to program negativity into us.

The news...is a major sourse of unrest and anxiety. The Social media madness is another tactic used to torment our youth. You are right..the movies "masses of them" that are being released should all be destroyed. It is a different world and i dont like what we are being subjected to.

Don't Forget The "The Medication Ads" We Are Bombarded With !* Listen To The "Side Effects". Heck, It's Like They've Come Up With New Ways To Give You Aids or/ Something !* There Are So MANY Now That Extremely LOWER Your Immune System. & For What ? Clearer Skin & White Toenails ?*...LOL.. Exactly!! A Bayer or Vicks commercial..not meds for Eczema..with heart failure and death as side effects..

I HATE THAT !! And they play those commercials over and over and OVER!! They are trying to drive us crazy.

Two years ago when I was cover in depression, my friends and parents said that the reason for it is that I don’t have tv !!!! they bought me one, I plugged it half year later and only watched Netflix. I would never put on news channel... that is instant death!
