Heartbroken 😭

I am so heartbroken right now. I have gone no contact with my family (brother and sister) for my peace of mind and mental health.

My oldest son thinks I’m being unreasonable and I’m only thinking of myself. He is coming to visit from 2500 miles away and I called to let him Know I want to see him but, not them. He refuses to just visit with me separately are stay at my house. We had a huge argument and I hung up on him. 😭😭😭I know he’s dissapointed in me and I feel like he’s ashamed of me.

I just want to hide in my house and not talk to anyone. I’m so depressed.

Isn't there any way your son can at least visit you for the day, and respect your wishes about not seeing your brother or sister?

Sorry for your sadness. I imagine your son doesn't know the reason behind your decision as to you family and maybe he doesn't need to know. Should you be able to talk with him again, suggest you hang on and avoid temptation to argue with him . Let him know you're very sad as to his decision to not see you, but that you will have to respect it. Perhaps he will them realize he should do the same.
