Don't know what to do

Just been down for awhile. It seems like my life is going nowhere. Going to college literally did me no favors. I went for zoology, but it didn't do anything but put me in debt. I have been stuck in low paying contract roles for 7 years. I still live with my parents because of the debt. I just don't know what to do.

Is there any other field you'd like to try? It seems to me that zoology doesn't give you a very wide range of opportunities compared to, for example, a business degree. Leaving the money needed for tuition aside for a moment, are there any other fields that you have an interest in?

I should be well rounded in science. I had to take plenty of chemistry, physics and biology classes. It was supposed to better than a biology degree. Pharmaceutical companies and biotech companies we're apparently fans of this degree. But I'm not seeing it, unfortunately. I love lab work and field work, and data.

I majored in same field. Was doing low pay lab jobs. Now doing low pay finance job.
