From out of no where. And I thought things were getting better. Now I feel like I am going to have a heart attack! I know it's my brain that has taken over but this time I am alone and no where near any kind of help whatsoever! Please someone tell me what to do to stop this!

Okay take slow breaths in through your nose, out through your mouth while counting to 4. Try to take your mind to a happy place or time. I'm here if you need me. Love, peace, light, joy & hugs for you!

Take a deep breath. ...

Accept that you're anxious. ...

Realize that your brain is playing tricks on you. ...

Question your thoughts. ...

Use a calming visualization. ...

Be an observer — without judgment. ...

Use positive self-talk. ...

Focus on right now.

Splash water in your face

Put a ice in your hand

Use grounding meditation

Take some slow breaths. You’re going to be ok. Also, chewing gum can help trick your nervous system into thinking everything is alright. Or even just making the chewing movement. (People don’t eat in fight or flight mode so chewing signals your nervous system to calm down). Do some mindful focus on your normal breathing.

Hi kilty man sorry to hear your having problems especially at this time of the year! You could try breathing exercises so see if that will help you become calmer! When the holidays are over get yourself to the doctor I don't know when your doctor reopens but if you think things are getting to much go and see them as soon as you can! I truelly hope you start to feel better soon take care All the best david

First thing to do is slow your breathing, I know it's easier said than done, but deep slow breathing calms your racing heart, rapid pulse, and the panic eases. You're not alone, a lot of people here for you. I'm here for you, just message me. I hope you're ok. xx

I have been repeating this over and over it helps me. I also writing calming thoughts on an index card might help. When you are battling pull it out and just keep reading it

This is just my brain, and I do not need to pay attention to this thought.
