Hi I have been dealing with anxiety and depression since my diagnosis of multiple sclerosis was made back in 2012. i take anti depressents but i still struggaling with anxiety. And it makes it extremly hard because i double with fatiuge on top of that do to my M.S. i just want to feel normal and like a person again. but can't get there. is there any advice?

I take anti anxiety meds on top of antidepressants fibromyalgia. The chronic pain along with fatigue is making me very anxious and worrisome about my future. Anti anxiety meds help some. Maybe you can ask for anti anxiety meds if you haven’t done already.

Having an MS diagnosis is, by definition, upsetting. I hope you are keeping up with all doctor appointments and prescribed medicines. In addition I think that seeing a therapist and/or a psychiatrist on an ongoing basis may help you deal with the emotions which a difficult diagnosis brings up. There are also support groups for people with MS which would be helpful.
