Is it just me? - major depressive disorder

My first post on this platform. Seems pretty nifty. Well I’ll cut to the chase; I’m a capable young lady currently in her fifth year of an undergraduate bachelors degree. I began SSRIs four years back. Prozac has been my main squeeze for the last two years.

I’m writing here because it’s the change of season and I haven’t felt debilitated like this from my disorder in a while. I mean major crying spells, not leaving bed and not being able to think straight.

What’s it like for anyone else living with major depressive disorder? I am lucky in the sense that multiple family members of mine are prescribed the same anti depressant, so the topic is pretty normal to be discussed. I’m interested however in hearing others experiences, losses, strives and goals for the future!
