Break up...

So my boyfriend of almost 4 years broke up Sunday. I can’t help but blame myself for my racing thoughts and insecurities. Things have been really tough lately with my mental health and this just added the frosting. I pictured us together forever and we just couldn’t make it work. I’m trying really hard to stay strong and think positive and think about my future but it’s so damn hard..

That stinks. I won’t sugar coat it. Sorry it happened. I recently went through a similar break up. I wish my mental disorder would break up with me! All I can say is that when you get better maybe the two of you may have broken up any way so don’t completely blame yourself.

Don't blame yourself. That makes it so much harder. Think of it as 'Everything happens for a reason' cause I bet that eventually he will come back and your guys relationship will be stronger or someone else is going to come and accept you and you two will have a closer bond. I'm not sure what the future hold but, I like to think of it as a surprise that I'm waiting for like a birthday present so I try to say positive about things. But I do hope things get better for you.

One day at a time. Just take it one day at a time. You committed 4 years of yourself to this person and now the relationship it over. It is still fresh. Love just doesn't go away because someone ended the relationship. It takes time to move on. Grieving for that is ok, normal, and health. Keep up with your mental health treatments and try to remember that this is a new beginning. <3 youtube.com/watch?v=DXgMdMc...
