Losing my mind
Take a mental health day. Occasionally I’ll get like this (OCD which is just depressing some days) so I’ll tell my family that I need a stress-free day. I arrange my daughter to be cared for, my bills already paid and food planned out. Then I just hang out or if I feel like it, I’m go actually do something but I just have to check out for a couple. Makes everything more tolerable after.
Say no then! Seriously you can say that you have enough on your plate and you are going to take a rain check. x
Self care comes first before meeting expectations.
You have to verbalize your feelings to each person that attempts to pile more stress on you that you’re spent and can’t take anymore. Not saying anything indicates that it’s ok with you. I have to prioritize things and tackle them one to a few at a time, starting at the top. Forget the things in which you have no control. Take it slow and easy utilizing baby steps if needed. You’ll get there!! I’m wishing you peace, my friend!!
I know the feeling, too much all at once makes me feel so overwhelmed and I want to run and hide. Although some things cannot be helped, we can and NEED to say NO to people. I understand that you don't want to hurt any or feel like you are letting them down, but you are hurting yourself when you become too busy. Take some time to relax and breathe. Setting some boundaries will work wonders for you! When I start to feel that way I stop and start to organize my thoughts, then I practice some relaxing breathing, then I move forward. Don't over do it, take care of you.
