Bipolar rollercoaster😟

Anyone suffer this at all? There's no group support for it. If there is I can't find it. If you suffer bipolar can I ask you what med or meds you take? Do the meds really help? Its just been really awful going from thinking seriously about commiting suicide to brief periods of being ok. No happiness whatsoever!! Its been many days of God why do I have to keep waking up and just to feel so damn shitty??? I'm trying to be hopeful but not happening!😞 Anyhoo, hope all of you out there are doing good! Hugs 💝

Kacey, I was great earlier and now I am way down low. I’m sorry to hear you are having rough days. You deserve everything good. Just recall a good time, like really imagine it, see it, feel it, and hold onto it...it doesn’t seem like it but there will be better times like those again.

Its fine I'm just crying off and on. Yea I'm sick of suffering this nightmare but don't have the guts to commit suicide! I'm to scared of death. Dead bodies etc scares me out of my mind!!😨😱 Its a terrifying thing to handle! I know lots of ppl have that scare and its so real. Scary scary! So Anyhoo I appreciate your help. I just talked to the Dr yesterday. He wants me to switch meds. Wants me to try vraylar. Not so sure. Anyhoo, how you doing??

Hello lovedogs!

I’m also bipolar and have been on Lithium for 30 years and I’m proud to say that I’m not in kidney failure! That’s a possibility with long, long term use. I don’t know where I would be today without that drug! It has helped me so much! No one has ever dared to take me off of it. It helps to even me out and stopped those wild and crazy, detrimental behaviors that are now a distant memory. I rarely feel like I’m having mood swings. It’s cheap too! I take 900mg/day of the extended release form all at once at bedtime. I’m pretty sure that they use more seizure-type meds and new meds now. I have no desire to switch!
