My heart is heavy tonight and I feel weary. My husband and I, being separated, still say we love each other. His stroke after effects were increased depression , personality change, and anger. Recently, I prayed very specific and intense prayers of his heart and mind changing, letting reconciliation be a possibility. The next day he said, we would discuss a trial reconciliation. I believe the prayers were powerful. He then changed his mind again. We will be talking on Wednesday. So tonight, I ask you all to pray for me, and with me, that he may honor his vows to me and to God. I’m sending love and hugs to you all!

It's Thursday. I was hoping to hear some good news from your time with your husband yesterday. How did it go? Even if it isn't good news? I liked how your prayer was for both his heart and his mind. It reminds me of how the peace of God works, too... "The peace of God which transcends all understanding will keep your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus."
Such a beautiful sentiment! Thank you, and also how sweet to remember and be thinking of me! 🤗I’m sad to say he is completely resistant to the idea of reconciliation. Even though just weeks ago, he wanted us to discuss it, or so he said. It’s heartbreaking to know and love someone for nearly 35 years, and then part. Especially sad is that I can see how the stroke has changed him. He does not realize that his anger could be part of depression. And he won’t see a counselor with me. I begin individualmcounseling next week. I’m struggling with depression at a time when I need extra energy and motivation. I have not worked outside the home in 25 years, and he’s been out of work now for months. I’m always open to advice and I so appreciate you being there and listening. 💖
