So I have suffered from anxiety for a long time (years) and I'm going through a tough time. I don't know what else to try and I just need support. I feel like no one understands how difficult day-to-day tasks are. I guess I just don't want to feel like I'm alone.

I know what you mean. And this is a great place for support. Everyone that I have talked to here has gone through some version of depression, anxiety and panic disorder. I have felt this way for years and am resigned that I will take meds for the rest of my life.
You are not alone. I am on here at least once a day just to check in.
So are you medications and do they help? Anything you want to talk about??

Thank you for your reply. I am not currently on medication. I tried that a few years back and they made me feel worse.
I do try several other things that have helped such as exercise, yoga, meditation, hipnosis, reiki, and I recently returned to therapy after about eight months without.
Is there anything that you have tried that has helped you reduce your anxiety?
Like Alan, listening to music helps a lot! Or coloring, which sounds silly but my color book is IDGAF. I don’t give a f***. That’s fun. I think everything you’re doing sounds awesome. Anything to take your mind off your anxiety is worth trying. I do have meds, klonipin that I take and it helps severe anxiety. And I like coming here and providing support if I can. I like helping others. I crochet beanies every fall so I’m working on them now and I give them to a homeless shelter.
I keep finding and looking for different things.
Also, if I know it’s a situation that makes me anxious, I try to remove myself from it. I hope that helps. 😁😁

I have passed same ways. I offer you set 1 hour per day for your anxiety questions. And on the day when u worry about something order your mind not now we will discuss it on my anxiety hour. But do not miss your anxiety hour. Let your brain ask questions and write them per one page. When you give anwer for a question mark it answered and send trash the paper. If u can not find answer mark i am not genius and send trash. But do not over your anxiety time. Do not forget you are the boss but you should know by your self and controlling your minds.

You are definitely NOT alone! I struggle with really bad anxiety. Have you gone to a doctor or counselor? Have you been prescribed maybe a low dose of medicine, yet? I am praying you start to feel better!! I know how bad it can be.
