Mixed Emotions

Today has been an interesting day to say the least. Months of hard work have paid off in a big way. Today should be a celebration, yet I feel numb and empty through it all. 🤔

i know the feeling, sometimes if you work very hard and all it occupies your mind, and you see only goal ahead...when you reach this goal, you feel empty. it will go away...or you have to set a new goal may be. Good luck to you and support.

I just read your post from yesterday.......how are you feeling today about your accomplishment?

Great question. I’m still not sure. I’m sort of in a surreal state of mind right now with all of it. Things are still unfolding and I’m trying to stand back and observe it all. It’s a crazy feeling of both freedom and loneliness. I find myself asking what is the purpose of all the hard work. Now what. What to do. Who to enjoy it with. The road to this day has not been easy, there has been many setbacks and roadblocks. I thought all those emotions would go away with one exit of a deep breath. It hasn’t, but maybe it will at some point. I think I have more anxiety about that part more than anything because I want to feel like I turned the page to the next chapter in my life. Maybe time (and some travel) will begin to heal. 🙏🏼

I can totally understand the way you feel.....Sometimes it just takes time for things to settle in. You should be proud of yourself for your accomplishment!

I love the travel idea.......getting out of your "typical" environment can give you a fresh perspective.

I spent most of my time in Christchurch and Queensland. Now is the time my friend.

Maybe even a trip over to Australia too

Do you have someone close you can celebrate with? Celebrations are meant to be shared with those who love you and are happy with you. Also, look for the deep meaning in the win. Dissect it to see where the joy is. Just an award isn't anything unless there is something to be learned or given. Look for those you can help thru the win. =) Congratulations by the way! =D I celebrate with you and am proud of you!
