I don't want to see this picture on my news feed, it's inappropriate on a forum for anxiety and depression.

This is not a news feed. It’s a place to find support and friendship through the storm of life. These posts feed my spirit and are so wonderful and uplifting. I sure hope you find some peace. Disturbing sadness is everywhere and if you don’t wanna see it you’re in the wrong place. Yes, children are dying of starvation. That’s the tip of the iceberg in terms of global suffering. This post is about rising above yourself and selfishness to go INTO the muck and actually PULL others OUT. Doesn’t get more beautiful or appropriate than that. But you are certainly allowed your own opinion. You posted once about your quail and eating their eggs. Someone could find offense in that...

Helping others helps you more than them, It also helps you get your mind off yourself which is a big cause of anxiety and depression also. I hope this helps you to understand why i posted it. Good will to you my friend.

Beautiful, Responsible and Dedicated.

Breakfast at Tiffany's anyone?

So beautiful I could cry. She’s an example of grace. This is what we should do when we can, anytime and anywhere. Just help someone in trouble. There are opportunities everywhere. Maybe we should do this for ourselves too. Help yourself by following the examples of grace out there. Audrey, Mother Theresa, H.H. Dalai Lama, your neighbor, your friend, whoever it may be. Take a step toward goodness. Always.

Yes, I agree. My husband and I are members of 2 different community boards. We offer the less fortunate a hand up and not a hand out.

This helps my anxiety because I am focused on meeting the needs of others.

When the anxiety comes accept the 'physical' part of it but the 'mental' part, do not give into the thoughts. Continue to do whatever you were doing. Do not run away from the present activity, resulting in redirection.

Let your brain know, there is no need for panic.

Check out, WonderBro you tube channel. He uses Claire Weekes method.

Deep breaths; 🦋

A wonderful reminder of what we are capable of doing. Helping others can also help us to feel useful and competent. It can be therapeutic.
