This is my first time joining an online support group so I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing yet. I decided to make an account so I could talk to other people who are going through the same things I am and hopefully get some advice.
I deal with a lot of depression and anxiety. I’ve suffered from it for many years now and It’s made my life very difficult at times. Lately my depression has been crippling and I can’t seem to make it any better.
I would like to chat with anyone who is going through similar struggles.

Welcome ❤️. You’re not alone - I’m sorry you’re feeling so awful just now. I have Generalised Anxiety, depression and OCD. Some days are like hell I think. are you on any meds for your anxiety and depression? Xx
That’s just terrible. I’m very blessed her in Scotland to benefit from our national health service (not that they always get it right....I at least don’t have to pay for meds). I take meds for my tummy problems (IBS). But I actually have never been able to take anything for the anxiety and depression. They all make me violently ill. So I’m trying to live with the conditions without meds. It’s very, very hard, isn’t it?
Have you ever tried the 4,7,8 breathing technique? X
Yes, the medication did help me tremendously so it sucks that I can’t access it at the moment. And I have never heard of the 4,7,8 breathing technique, is it for depression or anxiety?

I hope you find the group helpful. I can relate to your story of anxiety and depression. I myself at this very moment am getting ready to go out for the first time in a few weeks. I know what it is like. Lately after many years of doing ok, my anxiety is worse. I try to find the root of the problem but then another pops up so.. i can't keep up with it. My social phobia is the worst right now. So you see there are people just like you here..Peace to you..!
