Saying Good-Bye to a friend

A couple weeks my friend told me she’s moving back East (we’re in Calif). She’s a dear friend and a great support. Plus we’ve had a lot of fun together. And I adore how Gay supportive she is.

Yet she got accepted to a fine school in the East. I’m thrilled for her. This morning was our good-bye breakfast. I’m both happy for her but am feeling sad with the loss of her moving away.

Sure, we can chat on the phone or use FaceTime, but it differs from getting together in person.

Change is good. But it can be sad too.

Yeah change leaves open the door to pain and sadness. Hey look at it this way you got a place to stay if you visit the east coast.

The same thing is happening to me. A friend of mine is moving to another state but It's not far. We don't see each other much or talk much like you two, but when he said he would move I felt alone. It's weird maybe beacause I like to feel he was there and If I wanted to I could see him. But I'm also very happy for him.

I think moments like that show how much we care and love those people in our lives.

Some change seems needless though....but your a good friend to be happy for her.
