I was just on a 14 hour flight on Turkish Airlines and I'm now at home terrified I might have contracted some kind of bacteria that will make me throw up, or that the food could have been contaminated- how common is it to get sick from planes?! I have severe emetophobia and horrible anxiety so I need to find a way to chill. Help!

I'm sorry your going through this health anxiety...are you seeing a therapist to help you with sorting this out. There are others who have posted about this as well...you may want to read some others who post about anxiety and how they deal with it.
It is not so common to get sick after flying, but it can happen. Next time you may want to bring your own food and a bottle of water. Quite a few people do do this. As to the emetephobia, however, try to see you therapist as a phobia is much more painful than just a "concern."
