I don't understand what is going on exactly. Two weeks ago I told my doctor that my mouth was extremely bitter and she said its caused by my depression and anxiety. I need something to help.

What’s causing your anxiety?

A bad taste in one's mouth can also be caused by a little stomach disturbance or something you ate. Are you more anxious than usual?

I also suffer anxiety and get dry mouth from it. Having dry mouth alters the taste of food and drinks and leaves weird bitter taste on my tongue. I have no appetite and have to force myself to eat at times. My empty stomach produces a lot of acid and I get acid reflux occasionally. So, it could also be acid reflux. Both are easily treatable. I hope you find relief soon.

Hey Emmanuella, Its not a mental issue that we face everyday I see it as a cold or fever which can be treated with proper guidance. I am from Bangladesh and people here are also dealing with the same problems but some of them knows what is happening some doesn't. When it started I had severe Panic attacks due to anxiety during night time or sleeping time for nearly 4 to 5,6,7 hours. I couldnt understand what was happening to me for 1month I could not sleep, laugh, play and sing etc which made me depressed. I did not talk to people. I stopped studying, I was always on my bed. Later on when when it became serious I went to my parent and told them I need to see a doctor. You know what they said "Are you a psycho that you need a doctor for your mental issues?". At the end for my panic attacks I had breathing problems for which I went to a respiratory Specialist who understood and gave me a med. I had those for like 3 months I now Mash Allah I do not have any of my anxiety or panic attacks. This has made me stronger. I can guess you are a strong girl, you can make it on your own. Lots of things will come on to your mind but dont think much, do what like doing .. Dont think what other people is saying or will say.. Travel much more , Hang out with your friends, Try to control your anger. Share your thoughts . These all things helped me recover from my stage hope that these will help you too... We are there for you. Lots of love for you.. Thanks
