Help in Getting off of Zoloft

i have heard that the combination of SAME and L-Tryptophan can work to wean away from Zoloft. Has anybody done this with success? Thanks much.

I’m old too and very much alive! I hear ya! 😉 I am unable to tolerate SSRI’s so I’m afraid that I don’t have any useful experience or advice for you. I did, however, want to wish you well on your quest to get off Zoloft. Maybe you could discuss it with the prescriber? Good Luck!!

Good idea but they only want to use RX's. Zoloft kills my sex drive and unable to climax. At 80, I am not wanting to give up my sex life. Thanks GratitudeFirst

Are you sure it is the Zoloft? It could be from age. Things stop working for a reason as we get older. Organs don’t function like they used to.

I don't know about getting off of Zoloft but I have tried to give up my Xanax and I have not been able to accomplish it. If it weren't for Xanax I would never get any sleep. I don't know that anything I take affects my sex drive as until a few months ago I had been without for 13 years. I made the mistake and fell for a much much younger man who reminded me of what I had been missing. My morals made me make the drastic change that I was far too old for him. Now I find myself wanting the companionship of another male, one much closer to my age and maturity. I wish you lots of luck getting off the Zoloft and so glad to hear you are living life.
