Help, if you can?! :(

This is going to be a long shot here. But again, I’m worried about my health and I can’t get to the doctors sadly until my appointment on the 27th. I’m having some pain and I was wondering if anyone has had this too? So I can have a peace of mind. Because it’s currently freaking me out.

I have a pain that isn’t there constantly but it’s sort of under my right breast but sort of over just a little bit where the side is not too far though. I’m also having cramps in my lower back. My mom JUST had her appendix taken out and that’s what I’m worried it is. Has anyone ever had this pain before? I’m worrying myself to death and I can’t handle it.

The pain you’re describing isn’t generally associated with appendicitis. But! I’m not a doctor and cannot diagnose you. I’m afraid your panic disorder is getting the best of you right now. My son does the same thing! If your pain worsens, you will need to see a doctor. Try to relax!!

I had something like that in a different spot but kinda similar in nature and I kinda freaked and thought it was related to my heart (online said it might be, of course) but I went to the doctor and did some tests and they couldn't find anything wrong and then it went away. I can't say that's what's happening to you of course but I would assume it's that until you go to the doctor (because statistically speaking out of all the times we think something is wrong like that, it usually isn't). Also, if you had appendicitis I bet it would become unbearable pain pretty quickly, so you would for sure know if that were the case. I totally understand the worry though especially since you've been around appendicitis recently. Best wishes and try to do some meditation or mindfulness because I bet the anxiety could be making your cramping worse. Hang in there!

GO TO THE HOSPITAL NOW.They can run test and xrays to tell you if it serious or not

I often have weird pains. I find any pains around my breast are helped by sleeping bra-less. If you already do this then I wonder if it is something that you are eating differently ? I can get the strangest pains from eating things my body is not used to. Since I eat whole foods and plant based I have a lot less than I used to but sometimes it still happens. I hope you feel better soon!

Hi I would ring up your doctors tomorrow and say you want to have a telephone conversation with a doctor. If you are in the UK then most surgeries will do this. x

Appendicitis is easily treated by not overly invasive surgery. I agree with hyper cat, above.

I've had it and it's extremely painful. They thought my appendix had burst when I was admitted to hospital. They did a CT scan and said it was just a mass....I was on intravenous antibiotics for a few days. Go to your Dr just to rule it out if nothing else x
