I don’t understand how people can just get over things with time I overthink so much right now it’s killing me because I’m playing out all the bad scenarios and I only have one good one. Don’t be so hard on yourself! Ruminating is a vicious way of thinking...I’m sure we all do it at one time or another. I do it too when I’m depressed or angry. My solution is quite simple, but requires a lot of practice. I just make myself stop and begin using distraction to change my thought pattern. Ruminating is always negative for me and extremely counterproductive. I hate it...you have to practice consciously redirecting your thoughts. It’s a miserable way to live! Wishing peace of mind for you!
