I am 22 years old and my boyfriend is my best friend. He's actually the first person (friend wise) I have opened up to about my depression and talked about my feelings with. Except... I just think he struggles to understand what is going on in my head. He says I can always talk to him when I'm feeling down etc, but lately I feel like I have been feeling down too much and talking to him too much about it all. I am just so confused on how to handle this all?

I am trying to understand what you need help with? Are you confused because he doesn’t understand or that your are talking to much about it?
Hi!
I think it’s good to talk to your boyfriend about your struggles , but if you’re feeling like you’re doing it just a little too often then it’s probably time to change what you’re doing to help yourself right now. Do you see a Psychiatrist or therapist? Are you on meds for your depression? Are you helping yourself by thinking positively, staying out of the past/future and living only in today focusing on what you can control? These are a few things you need to ask yourself. Try to help yourself by taking action in your life. You alone, are responsible. I sincerely hope and pray that you can find the strength/courage you need to help you deal with your issues. Sending you hugs!!
