Nightmares

My nightmares are getting really bad. I wake up in the middle of panic attacks and I don’t know what to do about it.

I haven’t taken my sleeping pills for the past two days because I’m afraid to go to bed. I’m exhausted. What should I do?

Melatonin has a tendency to give people weird or bad dreams...even though it does help to get back to sleep. Could it be your current sleeping pill? You might ask your dr if he has any info on the pills causing this, or if he might suggest another kind. Good luck to you, Cady.

Are you starting any new medications? Certain medicines can cause vivid dreams. Did the nightmares occur while taking the sleeping pills or only when you stopped taking them?

I’ve always had really bad nightmares. I’m on medicine right now that has been helping but the dreams came back last week.

Medicine can be making them worse. I would ask your doctor if their is anything they can do for you.

I sleep but my nightmares consist of more body movements. I usually wake mumbling non sense, punching or kicking or random body movements.
