Hi. I am new to here. I've never been a part of an online group before. I am dealt with anxiety and panic attacks on and off for 8 years. They started when I was in my early 20s. I take an antidepressant to help and usually when I'm on it my anxiety and panic attacks pretty much disappear. Then I feel strong and better about things, decide to go off the meds and within 6 mos to a year start having the same symptoms again. I have been good for almost 2 years and went down to the lowest dose. About a month ago I started having severe anxiety again and had multiple panic attacks. I had to call off work which I've never had to do before and have started to feel depressed as well. My doctor adjusted my meds back up to the dose I had been on, but they dont seem to be kicking in the way they used to. I'm starting to feel like I'm going crazy and am just so tired of being afraid and anxious all the time. My husband is very supportive and is always there for me, but its hard to not feel alone bc ge can never understand exactly what I'm going through. I'm hoping through here I can find more support and maybe feel like I'm not so alone.

Welcome to the group. I hope you find some support here. And believe me you are not alone. We know what you are feeling. But like us, unless you have experienced anxiety/depression you don't know what it's like.
