This is my first time on this site. I am suffering with severe panic, anxiety and depression which has take away my freedom. I have lots of physical, health issues which means lots of doctor appointments. Dealing with the panic has been challenging and depending on others in order to get to and from doctors' appointments depressing.

Hi and welcome. I can relate to running around to Dr appts. That alone is frustrating. Trying to wait patiently for gosh knows how long, to get 5 min of their time. Yikes! Then in your case you have to drag another person with you. That is more frustration. I'm sorry. Are you on anxiety or depression meds? Can you see a therapist? Can you afford public transportaion, buses, taxis, even Uber?

Yes, I have been on panic and anxiety meds for years. Was doing well and had a set back the past two years. Panic is terrible and it is so difficult to picture myself independent again. I am looking at possibly using Uber’s for my doc appointments. Don’t know how affordable it will be but will help me to be more independent.
Yes, I have been seeing therapists, social workers and clinic medication specialist since I was diagnosed with Lupus five years ago.
