I was put back on this drug today for anxiety/panic. I was on it years ago, I remember coming off was hard. Does anyone have experience with this medication.

Is this kalonopin? I’m also prescribed to it, but I don’t take it everyday. It’s just taken as needed. I also take celexa for everyday use. So I’m not really sure about how hard it is to come off of.

Benzodiazepines are good for short term use, they are very addictive and difficult to come off of. Just be cautious with any benzo.

I was on it many years ago. I took it as needed. I didn’t have any ill effects from it. I used it for only a year.

I take two 0.5 mg of Klonipin at night for sleep. I want to stop because it makes me groggy in the morning.

I did two sleep studies. On one of them they said I have "periodic limb movement disorder" which is like restless leg syndrome. The other time I didn't. The time I didn't was because I took Klonipin to sleep. That is what they prescribe for my disorder. Now, I just started taking Abilify and some people said they get restless leg syndrome from that drug. I just can't win...

I was on this as well as xanax which is more powerful and am still on when needed for anxiety.. but benzos are always hard to come off of if you just stop. But if you're doctor tapers you down which most doctors will you will be fine. No one's going to just cut you off cold turkey. It does help though for me anyway. Hope this helps

Yes I'm on it & have cut way back...I didn't have any problems with doing it...maybe because I did it slowly! I wish you all the best!!! Love & Peace! XXX
