You can properly help yourself you just have to learn how. So then you find a place like this we might not be counselors but we knew a few things and all would be happy to be helpful in any way. What’s going on?
Do you have medical insurance? I don’t know where you live, but in CT insurance has come a long way in treating mental health. Start with your doctor and don’t sugar coat...tell them you’re suffering and demand treatment.
If you are in the USA- how about NAMI or Recovery Learning Community?
Catholic charities will see you for free, and there are non payback grants for medication. Just call the manufacturer of the meds you take and they will provide you with the proper grant agency. Catholic charities has counselors for free if you can’t afford to pay.
Also your local health depts. or if you live anywhere near a university they have mental health help.
Try applying for charity care. You can get emergency Medicaid. ❤️❤️
