Derealization help
I’m in the same boat I know it seems really difficult right now but it will pass in time. I’ve pulled myself out of a phase of derealization and depersonalization and now it’s back. It hurts me knowing it’s happening and I feel so odd and disconnected but I keep reminding myself that it will pass. ❤️
I don't understand what it is if you care to explain. If not, its ok.
Mine was caused by anxiety but it can be caused by a bunch of others things drugs, etc. it’s basically the feeling of being in a dream 24/7 and feeling very disconnected. Everything seems and looks fake and you feel very numb, in my case. It’s when you’re going through something so stressful you’re brain kind of disconnects from everything around you to try and protect itself. Hopefully that made sense. that was the very simple way of explaining it but if you want a more deep complex explanation you can always look on google!
I know the feeling but it will go away, try doing mindfulness, check some videos of it out on youtube or you can try the app headspace.
