Panic attack

Anyone got panic attack with sertraline,i took a small dose and my body produced abnormal sensations like sudden chest discomfort, electric shock like sensation suddenly out of blue.I can't explain the feeling.Its like i am about to get heart attack.

25 mg ,just started for 2-3 days

No,never,its bcoz of sertraline

You might want to give it a little more time to fully get into your system. If the panic attacks don’t go away or get worse you could be allergic to it.

They don't seek to go away

I take 100mg of sertraline 2x a day. I get panic attacks sometimes being on the medicine. When I get them they last hours. They always go away though

I never get them as such,i inky get panic attacks after taking this medication.

I read an article saying some people can get panic attack with Medication

How long have you been taking the medication, it took me 6 months to fully get better on this medication it takes awhile to settle in but then again everyone’s different. I’m sure you aren’t going to have a heart attack please try not to worry to much about it. I would speak to your doctor or phone call them and see what they think.

This is a normal part of the beginning of the medicine. The first few weeks can be uncomfortable and seem like it's getting worse, but give it time. Of course, if you need to discuss having side effects on the new medicine call your doctor and report them. If you have something serious, go to the nearest doctor, but I had stomach problems and increased anxiety for a while when starting. Still settling in. I take 50 mg. never had that happen. But I also take lorazepam with it to though.
