Hi Guys,

This is my first entry! So I have been having problems at work with my coworkers always busting my balls and making me look dumb in front of customers. Any way to fix this?

Have you tried talking to your supervisor?

Try to be diplomatic and shut them down politely if they are doing or saying something in a dismissive manor or being disruptive while your working with a customer. But first off...I'd talk to your supervisor as it is always policy that the customer relationship is foremost, and what brings money into the store. Being interrupted or spoken down to by other co workers while dealing with a customer is very unprofessional on their part and bad form to show in front of a customer....simply turn to them and say...'thanks...I got this, if i have a question I'll ask you'....'if you don't mind I'm talking to this customer, and if you need to talk to me, I'll get back to you when I'm finished'....always keep your cool...stand your ground....ask yourself if there is anything more you could learn about the business your in to make you more informed and do a better job with customer relations....and be the best at what you do...that shut's work place bullies up faster than anything....trust me....I know....

Pull these people aside and tell them that there comments in front of customers is belittling and frustrating. Tell them your doing your best and if they have any feed back pertaining to your customer interaction feel free to speak with you privately. Set the ground rules for yourself. Keep the focus on your needs. See how that goes before you bring this to managements attention.
