So, I'm forcing myself to get back into drawing and art. Here's a just-for-fun post of a work in progress. I did drawings of my three older nephews' favorite superheroes a few years ago for Christmas. Now the youngest one is old enough to have a favorite character, so it's his turn. Hoping to have it colored and framed in the next few days.

Thanks snowdaze, I hope he likes it. We went to the zoo with him for Halloween and he dressed as Cap. He's only 4 yrs old, so not sure he'll realize I drew it for him!

Thanks Windy 101, i will try to keep at it. I should have more time after the holidays to devote to it. I would like to work up the nerve to try painting some day, but it's a lot more involved and kind of intimidating.

Thank you. That's very nice of you to say. I forgot how drawing takes me out of my head for a little bit. Maybe I was just never mindful of it before, but it was kind of nice.

Thanks for your kind words. I noticed it the other day when I was drawing; I got into a sort of trance and kind of lost track of time. My mind was quiet for a change, and I actually felt kind of peaceful.
