Reassociate

Disassociation is when we pull away because pain is “too much”.

Reconnect by Breathing In to see what is there, then Breathe Out offering heart space filled with caring presence and peace. We pause. That is the beginning of reassociation. It breaks the “running from” pattern. Do a Body Scan to reconnect, instead of being reactive, learn to stay. Use wisdom and compassion to what might be there.

You’re welcome 😊 I’m glad that you could connect. I’m having an overload of sensations from thoughts that I’m trying not to run from but be with in the present and at the same time I have to pick out one thing at a time and see if I can make peace with it. Not always easy.
