Have been home from the inpatient hospital since Saturday and I am finding it hard to adjust. Keep feeling like I left too soon. Can’t do the simplest things like cook clean laundry. Don’t want to even get out of bed but if I don’t go to group I will get worse. Group is five days a week and is helping some. Maybe it is just time I need to adjust to the new meds.

Hi tfry1, Not only do you need time to adjust to the new meds but also to adjust to being in the real world. Being in the hospital is an enclosed safety net where help is all around us. Our only job is to work on ourselves. It's very normal in what you are feeling right now. Give yourself time and you will be okay. Have a planned day if you can, anxiety needs that structure. Tackle each task in small steps. (Cooking Cleaning & Laundry) Use the tools you learned while hospitalized. It's great that you are continuing with group 5 days a week. It will all come together in it's own time, don't rush it. Wishing you well in going forward. xx
