Starting new anxiety medication (Diazepam) and currently in Seroquel for bipolar disorder. Would like to know opinions in people taking these medications. Also, interested in non-medication treatments for anxiety and depression. Suggestions? Any information would be highly appreciated!
Thanks

hi...I don't know about the meds your talking about, but it's always really good to check with your therapist about alternatives to medication first. Sometimes we just have to maintain our body chemistry ...no different than taking meds for heart condition or diabetes. If your unsure your being given the right meds also, you could get a second opinion, they may help.
Been on 4x5 mg of diazepam for 20 plus years , they were never helpful to me , also I tried to wean myself off them , but couldn’t , so I’m taking them now just to stop withdrawal symptoms , not trying to scare you , just giving you my story x
Thank you for sharing your experience. It is very important to me to hear from people whom had used or are using Seroquel and Diazepam, and get to know how these medications have helped or not their situations.
I agreed to take Diazepam after a horrible panic attack two weeks ago. I wouldn't try it if the panic attack hadn't happened. It is frustrating because, to be honest, now I am scared of the medication as much as the panic attack happening again.
