Complex regional pain syndrome

My dr thinks I have complex regional pain syndrome as a result of a total knee replacement. I’m scared to death after reading about this. Do any of you have experience with this. I’m so depressed.

I don’t have experience with this syndrome. I had surgery weeks ago on my shoulder, long story short I need a shoulder replacement. Needless to say I felt helpless, the post op pain was overwhelming. The medication and the procedure REALLY set me off. I certainly can’t say the MD is wrong but it seems as though this information needs much more investigation. Every diagnosis requires a treatment plan. I’m sure a treatment plan and some time will ease your mind. This will work out, no doubt you will find some balance with this.
