Wellbutrin 150mg XL Withdrawal

So about a month ago I started taking Wellbutrin 150mgXL once a day on my own bc of some depression that was still lingering and to try and offset some of the side effects of Zoloft such as lethargy, sexual, etc. I take 100mg Zoloft once a day for anxiety and panic disorder and have been taking it for over 10 years. My bff takes Wellbutrin and loves the drug so I figured I would try it out. After being on the generic version for the last 5-6 weeks I finally decided that it wasn't helping and the side effects (anxiety, lack of sleep, pounding heart, anger, etc) weren't worth it. 1 week ago I took my last dose and went off of the Wellbutrin cold turkey. I have been feeling pretty good until a few days ago. This morning I woke up with anxiety and panic (had a mini panic attack where I got dizzy and felt out of breath), had some hand tremors, manic thoughts, a sore throat, feeling like I had the flu, and was sick to my stomach. I took 1/2 Klonopin .5mg and that seemed to ease the anxiety. I wasn't on Wellbutrin that long and I know I quit cold turkey but is it normal for the withdrawal effects to start a week later and if so how long do they usually last? I'm just getting worried that something else is wrong with me and don't want to feel like this for long.

I am so impressed by your strength to stop a medication that you feel is not needed. Even though a Doctor thinks it will help. Please keep us posted as to your progress. I have been on Wellbutrin for many years...350mg. I want to quit. I am sending you positive thoughts and prayers. Keep it up, your strength is amazing!
