hi, I take 50mg amitriptyline for nerve pain, I also have depression, and tried various meds, if I ask the doctor to up my antidepressant would that work

Hi dilly regards the amitriptalene i presume its that you want increased it would be worth asking your doctor ! If its something else you take for by amitriptalene i would say citalopram,venlafaxine and prozac but out of the three citalopram seems the most used i hope u you find some thing that helps good luck dn

hi, thanks for reply, I take mirtazapine but doesn't seem to help x

If youve not been on it long give it adout 4 - 6 weeks before you see any effect if not go to your doctor good luck !
