Fast weight loss: Ways to loose weight... - Anxiety and Depre...
Fast weight loss
Are you currently doing any exercise, if so what time, how frequent, what duration?
Calories in vs Calories out,the best method i found for my self was to count calories,to make sure that i never over ate or never under ate.
What is your idea of losing weight fast? the faster you lose it the faster you gain it back and then sum, again i am speaking from experience,i lost 6 stone in 10 months, from counting calories & exercising 4 days a week,i was macroing my food with the amount of carbs, protein & fat i was eating.
But then depression hit everything went into free fall and the weight came back in a matter of 2 years and then some, granted it did not help stuffing my face with junk food etc etc(comforting eating).
You have to listen to your body not what you see in the mirror, your body will speak more words then what your eyes see.
So if you want to lose a couple of pounds there are apps out there that can help you do so safely to make sure that your eating properly and making sure your getting the vitamins your body needs by eating the correct food.
I used my fitnesspal to help me lose the weight, and to make sure i was doing what i needed to do correctly.
However judging from one of your post's 7 days ago you say that your 5 ft 3 or 5 ft 4ish if your 5 ft 3 then your BMI is 19.7 if your 5 ft 4 then your BMI is 19.1 which means your in the "healthy" catagory for both your hight and body mass.
Again looking at your previous post you said that you use to be 7 stone 9 this put's you into the underweight catagory which means your not healthy, your currently 7 stone 13 this is your healthy weight this is the weight your body requires you to be at for it to function properly.
Your looking at things from a vanity point of view, your far from over weight but your closer to underweight.
So what you should be doing is looking at your calorie count for how to stay in your healthy weight range(the weight range that your body should be within not under or over) going in opposite directions can leave you more ill.
I would say if your not already speak to someone because someone your size you are in the healthy weight range dropping any more weight may well cause you problems in the future,if your not already speak to someone who can help guide you.
I haven't seen your previous posts, but if what Cj2016 is saying is correct, you do sound like you're at a medically healthy weight.
And my somewhat flippant, unprofessional answer is that according to what an average person considers "fast" in reference to weight loss, the answer is NO, there is no healthy way to loose weight fast. You could maybe lose water weight fast, but that would not not be true, sustainable weight loss.
There is none. You can loose weight effectively and healthy. It just takes dedication and time. I know someone who did have gastric bypass surgery and got skinny but was stuck with layers of nasty skin and without 100% dedication it comes right back. You have to get the lifestyle down first. The exercise, diet etc. Except then you will lose weight much healthier so it crazy to have surgery.
You don't need to lose weight Elleeee as your BMI is only 19.5. You are almost at the limit of being healthy and if you lose weight you are in danger of being underweight and unhealthy. I (and others) have said this to you loads of times but you are obviously taking no notice and don't believe us. I don't know how to get through to you so will just have to wish you luck and hope you understand one day before you become too ill.
You appear to be in the grip of an obsession to be very thin and like I said before I am concerned you have an eating disorder. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.
I really do appreciate your reply’s and your concern, I really do try to take it in but I just can’t help but be so insecure. I do believe them for a little while but then I weigh myself and I seem to be putting more weight on every week. This week I am 8 stone which I have never been, yes I know I’m still in the healthy range but I do not feel comfortable as I’m used to being very slim. I am only concerned because I have never had to worry about putting weight on, until I started anti depressants and started gaining weight. I try my hardest to maintain but I keep gaining
