Heavy snow
Carpo unfortunately many of our young people today feel that life owes them. Which is far from the truth. Just because we are born into this world doesn't allow us to sit back and reap the benefits w/o working for it. I look out on a snowy day and see older kids playing in the snow while mom is out shoveling... No one seems to need to make a little money because everything is provided for them. Responsibility starts at a young age and unfortunately that's not the protocol of today's youth. Please, please be careful if you go out there. The important thing is to have the steps cleared should an emergency arise. The rest may have to be taken care of by nature.
Chicago's weather this year has been snow, then rain or warmer weather....so I've been lucky.
Please be careful- this is terrible. Is there a neighbor or even the senior center who could help? Why even bother with these "grandchildren?" Let me guess- they come to you when they want something like money, I hope you get to scold them .
You live with them and they abuse you verbally? That's awful.
Use to be my house after divorce years ago gave house to daughter single mother big mistake pay her 1250 a month to live here and treated like crap have health probs and anxiety depression toxic living conditions but at 84 not much I can do other than other living arrangements but it is what it is lived in military retirement not much left after paying daughter to live here appreciate your concern
You DESERVE to live your senior years in peace. I hope I am not stepping over the line, but but why are you PAYING your daughter to live in your own house? It sounds like they are taking advantage of you. Your daughter needs to grow up and start paying you. You do not deserve to be treated with disrespect.
Why do you give your grandson's money? What is your motive for doing so? You might want to think about these questions, and hopefully stop giving them money.
