What do I do?

I’m 41. I have a BA and MA. I am looking for work and no one will hire me here. It makes me feel even more useless. I am having more and more trouble having to go out or socialize. It’s too much. I have no money for doctors. Anxiety and depression is overwhelming, but I can pretend like it’s ok. Everyone sees that as a weakness. I’m lost.

You need to be under treatment for depression. There must be some clinics in your area that serve people with lower incomes. Please do not try and battle this all by yourself.

Job hunting can be depressing all by itself, no matter what your mental state is. Take care of your health problem first, and you can tackle anything else that needs to be done.
