Tell me about that??
How are you feeling about leaving your doctor's appointment?
Relieved, angry, disappoint...many emotions. I did it recently myself
maybe not for the same reason as you but there was a noticeable feeling
of enlightment as I was walking out of his office.
I hope you are okay. Sometimes sharing helps x
I did not see the doc he was not there. I had a melt down and ran from the office. I felt like I could do harm to someone. After I left, I was hunky dory.
It shows you whatever the reason, it felt good to leave. I smiled when you said you were "hunky dory". Felt the same way.
My reason was because I waited on the examining table for exactly 1 hour. I felt if he was so busy with patients that day, I'd make it easier for him (and myself) and just quietly leave.
Never felt so much empowerment I was called the next day with tons of apology and the next appointment I was in and out within 10 minutes.
Breathe and enjoy the rest of your day. It's yours to be had. xx
I was in this position the other day. Went to the doctor and panicked so bad I needed to leave - in fact, I started to run out and a nurse stopped me and asked if I was ok - so I forced myself to stay so I could get the medicine I needed to be healthy. As difficult as it is (and I understand it seems impossible, believe me) it’s necessary to push yourself to the brink and face the panic head-on without giving up. Giving up fuels it, makes it come back stronger. I didn’t know that until my therapist told me that, and it sounds like tough love but it’s true. We’re all here for you if you need to talk it through!
Why?
They should have another Dr fill in..that sucks he wasn't there..we depend on them being professional and at least you should have been notified prior
