Last year I struggled with anxiety and panic attacks. Wanting to avoid meds at all cost,. I made some changes that gave myself the best chance to recover naturally. I avoided sugar and caffeine as much as possible. Those are fuel for anxiety and panic. I also made better choices in my regular diet . I excercicised regularly with my bike. FYI it doesn't need to be extreme. Bikeing or brisk walking will do, just enough to get the blood and oxygen to the brain and detox it. I also began to practice meditation using videos and podcasts I found on YouTube and on different podcast apps. Use the search tool. I still have general anxiety but I can manage it better. It's working for me and I avoided meds and doctor or therapist billis. As a bonus, I lost weight and got healthier. Not easy but it was worth it.. Just a suggestion. Good luck. ✌️

Great advice, thank you. I cut out sugar and caffeine by design for general health reasons without realizing the benefits of combating anxiety. There is heightened stress at work right now so I am taking 20mg of Lexapro that is helping quite a bit... especially since I began taking it before bed to help my anxiety-ridden insomnia. It appears I am going to have to step up my exercise to battle the assault even further to eventually not have to rely on the meds. Thanks.

My anxiety is work related also. I use meditation to help. Learning about mindfulness and acceptance based therapies. Lots of stuff on web , YouTube and podcasts. Journaling helps me too. Observing and making list of my emotions and fears in helps me if I put them on paper. Gratitude lists helps too. It keeps things in perspective. Good luck ✌️

Mine is also work related. Try breathing techniques. Deep breaths with your eyes closed. About 5 or 6. That will help in the short term get oxygen to your brain and and help calm you down. I have GAD and that helps me.
